Are New Year's Resolutions still a thing? Did 2020 end the resolution era?

We can all agree that our 2020 New Year's Resolutions didn't go all the way as planned. Did you accomplish everything you sought to improve in your life? The year of 2020 was something nobody would have expected. Everyone had expectations within themselves, wanting to be great in a variety of avenues, for the betterment of living a better life. So the question to our readers...could you really take your New Years Resolution serious?

I personally was pumped and ready to tackle 2020 like my life depended on it. Who knew that Q1 (Virus attacking the U.S. End of February- Start of March) would say otherwise. COVID-19 happened, New Year's Resolutions stopped, and more issues happened. It was like a never ending moment and unfortunately, there was absolutely nothing we could do about it.

2020 in my opinion should be titled for everyone, "Survival Of The Fittest'. Why? Well when you have people arguing in stores for food, avoiding people who look like they are about to cough, even choosing if it's really smart to go out on a Friday. Who would have known? Only thing I can say is that we have to continue forward regardless the stipulations.

In the year of 2021, do you believe a New Year Resolution is truly needed? Well, that is up for you to decide. Personally, I made one with no expectations this year. Everyone should continue to stay the course but keep you eye out for any concerns. I'm praying we all have at least a civilized year to relax and recoup our mental sanity.
