The first official speech was given last night to America. Joe Biden stated "Especially at those moments when this campaign was at its lowest, The African American community stood up again for me," Biden said, "You've always had my back, and I'll have yours."
As you may know by now. on November 7th, 2020, Our country elected Joe Biden & Kamala Harris as President & Vice President of The United States! This is something our entire country, especially Black culture needed to reshape our divided land. There is so much to celebrate in making a massive change to the U.S. So what's next?
Black culture has been through a lot as it pertains to politics, police brutality, and government policies. You may hear our post-graduates shout that we need student loans to be forgiven. You may hear the elders yell that we need affordable health care for the middle and lower-class families. Better educational systems applied for children. Regardless, we need to hold Joe Biden and Kamala Harris accountable in getting the community of Black people back into better circumstances.
The real work starts now Joe & Kamala. We are so happy to see that with the power of the Black vote, we can make a huge impact in deciding who gets into the oval office. Speaking for the Black community, we are counting on you two to implement some plans to help push culture forward. We are in distress for the sake of rebuilding our beautiful country.
This is not just about us, but all Americans. This is the time to promote unification. We've been divided for four rough years now, and they were 4 years we will never get back. I personally hate that we placed someone in office who has views on dividing all races of people. It was such a bad time in our lives to the point it felt Barack Obama two terms did not even exist at one point. The old saying that there is always a beautiful ending to a disastrous story is so true!
For the entire country, we need to know that there is but so much that Joe & Kamala can do. They are counting on us to do our part as well. Come together, love one another, and share with each other. We're all going through trying times, facing COVID-19 everyday, and other global disasters. We are all as one, and this will be an effort from all people.
